Beautiful garnets
These are better than I was expecting. I was expecting only 1 garnet, but I received 6 or 7! They do arrive a little dusty. But once you polish them off, they are beautiful! I am very impressed with the quality and am happy I purchased these.

Very good quality once dirt was washed off
Best price for the quality. This product appears to have come straight from the mine meaning U have to wash the dirt off first before you see their true beauty.

Fairly nice quality roughs
The stones received were nowhere near as large as the pics on Amazon. Mostly about the size of a nickel. BUT they were fairly decent quality. Not completely translucent. by any means, but they do show some nice reds when cut

Poor man’s Ruby
They come dirty but it’s also a really easy clean with a rinse with water. They are beautiful when cleaned, they’re also a decent size up to about a quarter (at least what I got) and through one of them you can see the red color with a flashlight. (The red appears much brighter and strawberry than the real appearance of deep red)

Not as described
Not at all as pictured. Two of the four stones arrived broken in half and the color is very dull. They did offer to replace them, but the size is much smaller than expected. I hope you have better luck with your order. They do seem to be some type of garnet, which kind I’m not certain. If they were larger I would have kept them.

Rocks Are Rocks
One of my grandsons told me that for his birthday in January he wanted his birthstone. We looked up his birthstone and found that it was a garnet. I asked him if he wanted a polished garnet, and he said he just wanted a garnet. After looking on Amazon with him, he saw the photo of the handful of plain and unpolished garnets and decided that’s what he wanted. The package arrived and it was well packaged to prevent any tearing or loss of the garnet stones. Once the package was opened he held in his hand about 8 roundish garnet stones. Now he wishes that he had a rock tumbler to shine up the plain looking rocks that would eventually be polished garnet stones. I guess that’s his next birthday gift.
